Behind this blog
I am Isabel, a leather bag-afficionado from Berlin.
Handbags and leather have been fascinating me since my early childhood. My father gave me the first leather bag as a gift from a business trip, when I was 11 and after that always added new ones over the years. As time went by, I became more and more passionate about handbags, especially leather bags and started to collect them.
After studying economics I worked in Product Management for Givenchy and Fendi Perfumes and Cosmetics, in Brand Management for Porsche Design, Strellson, Jette and Gerry Weber Shoes and Bags, as well as in the advertising sector doing Project Management, in Marketing and PR for the German Franchising Association.
The fascination for creating something by hand lead me to learn the basics of leathercraft in Florence, Italy. Since then, my passion for leather handbags and the craft has been growing every day.
Now, I want to share my experience, curiosity and passion with you on my blog.
Follow me and get inspired by new handbag brands and by the variety of the leathercraft reaching all over the world.
