Handmade handbags from Milan: Reptile’s House
Ad| Reptile’s House was launched by Giancarlo Nevola in the 80s. After a brief collaboration with some well-known Italian luxury brands, he started designing his own handmade handbags.
Reptile’s House stands for purism, details and italian craftsmanship. Each handbag creation is unique. Reptile’s House uses undyed neutral white skins for their handbags. The leather is dyed with pigments and wax products, finished with an airbrush and ironed to give it the final gloss. Using this technique, each handbag gains its own brilliancy and is enhanced with extraordinary effects.
This autumn’s handbag collection presents itself in dark metallic colours like black, taupe and grey. Lasered sliced skins match with smooth skins and give the bags their uniqueness.
In comparison to former collections, the handmade handbags appear more feminine with smaller items and are embellished with accessories.
